Kayla Papalia is an Early Childhood Education in the greater Vancouver, who has been working in the field for over 10 years. Her passions lie in advocacy and with her good friend/ former co-educator the two started the ECE Honestly Podcast as a way to bring as a way to bring a voice to what is not as openly talked about in the world of ECE. Sometimes that means talking about what is not so great about this field, as well as using the podcast as a platform to help elevate the voices of those educators who feel they are not being heard. Kayla is also the owner and operator of an in-home multi-age family childcare centre. She was able to take advantage of her privilage and leave working in group childcare, and began working for herself while still having the ability to work directly with children and families.
